Biography
As Head of MTU’s Design Department Frank Rick is responsible for all design activi- ties on commercial and military engines at MTU Aero Engines. Prior to his actual as- signment Frank held different management and engineering positions at MTU, incl. VP Engineering at Vericor Power Systems (MTU’s subsidiary for Industrial and Ma- rine applications in the United States), Chief Engineer for Advanced Commercial En- gines, Senior Manager Design and Senior Manager Production Planning. He re- ceived his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.Sc. in Physics from the Tech- nical University Munich in Germany.
